Our Team

Alex is the Founder and General Partner of Transpose Platform Management. He is also the Co-founder and former CEO of Trusted Insight, a machine learning–driven platform that hosts the world’s largest network of institutional investors. Prior to Transpose Platform, Alex managed capital for clients at premier endowments, foundations, family offices, insurance firms, sovereign wealth funds, and pension funds beginning in 2003. He has helped invest over $2 billion in 50 funds, including the first checks in Accel, First Round Capital, Founders Fund, Emergence, Y Combinator, Khosla, SaaStr, Initialized, Crystal Towers, and Baseline. Earlier in his career, Alex was an engineer and executive at AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Bell Labs, and GE. Alex holds an MBA from the Wharton School (where he lectured in the past), an MEng in Operations Research from Cornell, and a BA in Computer Science, English, and Economics from Cornell.

Fiyin is a Partner at Transpose where he focuses on portfolio strategy, investment execution, and company growth. His expertise spans AI, data infrastructure, and fintech, bringing a strong analytical lens to early-stage and breakout investments. Prior to joining Transpose, he spent five years in private equity at Duet Group and held roles at CME Group, Goldman Sachs, and Barclays. Fiyin holds an MSc in Business and Economics from Lund University and is known for his strategic insight and operational rigor.

Hunter Heflin is a Senior Investment Associate where contributes to investments and supports the firm’s mission to back exceptional founders and fund managers. Previously, Hunter was an Analyst for Kinetic Ventures, where he conducted market research, performed due diligence on early-stage companies, and contributed to fund reporting. Prior to venture capital, Hunter was an entrepreneur in the music industry, where he built and managed a catalog of music that amassed over one million streams and was used by the National Basketball Association. Hunter graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, & Economics and a minor in Consumer Psychology.

James is Partner and Director of Early Stage Investments at Transpose Platform. He brings a rich 18+ year history of partnering with founders at early-stage high-growth startups to build software platforms and applications that serve millions of people. James got his start at Palantir Technologies in 2006 as its first software intern on Project Gotham and has a proven track record of building platforms and applications from the ground up to serve a number of different industries. He led the development and hiring at Plympton, Earbits (YC11), Bodyport (YC15), and AICrete. Aside from his time in startups, James also brings a diverse set of skills from the enterprise space, which he gained while developing solutions at Phillips Volcano, UC Davis Medical Center, and the Baha’i World Centre. James holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering from UC Davis.

Nikos is a Partner at Transpose and is actively involved across fund and company investments. Prior to Transpose, he worked in consulting at Keystone Strategy, helping Fortune 500 companies with market research and new product development. His main focus was developing go-to-market strategies within the technology sector. Nikos graduated from Stanford University and holds a BSc in Management Science and Engineering.

Gary Anderson serves as Chief Financial Officer of Transpose, overseeing all financial and back-office operations. With more than 20 years of experience in fund administration, accounting, and operations, Gary has deep expertise in alternative investment structures and reporting, along with a strong record of building scalable, efficient finance functions. Before joining Transpose, Gary held senior leadership roles at UltimusLeverPoint, Mainstream Fund Services, and SS&C Technologies. Across these organizations, he managed accounting and operational teams serving a broad range of alternative investment clients, with a focus on delivering accuracy, transparency, and service excellence. Drawing on this foundation, Gary now applies his technical depth and operational experience to guiding Transpose’s financial strategy, infrastructure, and long-term growth.

Joshua Griffiths is a fund accounting professional with eight years of experience in the investment management industry. He specializes in fund operations and financial reporting. Currently serving as Controller, Joshua oversees accounting operations, ensures financial accuracy, and supports strategic decision-making across investment structures. He began his career at Strata Fund Solutions and Alter Domus and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Utah State University.

Ryan is VP of Finance at Transpose. Before joining Transpose, Ryan was an Accounting Director at Reliant Fund Services, where he was responsible for several client relationships and key initiatives. Prior to Reliant, Ryan was an Accounting Director at Broadscope Fund Administrators, where he led several teams serving venture capital, credit, fund of fund, and buyout clients. Ryan was also responsible for developing the firm’s fund of fund processes, assisting with new business development, and recruiting. Ryan began his career as a staff accountant at SS&C Fund Services. Ryan graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.

Ailbhe serves as an Investor Relations Partner to the Transpose Platform team. She brings a background spanning capital formation, LP communications, and early-stage venture building. Prior to Transpose, she was at Tribe Capital where she served as Chief of Staff and Partner. At Tribe she led investor engagement, supported global fundraising efforts, and helped launch Tribe Crypto Labs. She was also part of the co-founding team at Nibiru Chain, a Layer 1 blockchain focused on decentralized finance. She is known for building trusted LP relationships and operating with a philosophy rooted in trust, transparency, and high-impact value creation.

Diana is the Senior Director of LP Relations at Transpose Platform. Diana has been working in the financial sector bringing investment professionals together for over 20 years. Prior to joining Transpose Platform, Diana worked at NMS Management, Inc. as an Investor Liaison and Conference Operations Manager. Diana has decades of experience working with endowments, foundations, healthcare, and the not-for-profit institutions. Diana understands the value of fostering lifelong working relationships among LPs and GPs to promote investment results for everyone involved.

Hal Morimoto is Senior Director at Transpose where he focuses on building and maintaining relationships with Japanese ecosystem partners. Previously, he has served as an Advisor to Golding Capital Partners to assist with Limited Partner development in Japan since 2014. Prior to his time at Golding Capital Partners, Hal was a Managing Director and Principal at Astoria Consulting Group, where he helped develop relationships between corporate strategic investors in Japan and the venture capital and startup ecosystems in the U.S. In this role, he organized investor education events for pension investors, financial institutional investors, gatekeepers, asset management companies and fund managers in alternative assets.

Sophie is an Investor Relations Manager at Transpose Platform. Prior to joining, she worked as an Investor Relations Associate at Venrock.  Prior to joining Venrock, Sophie worked at Hellman & Friedman as an Executive Assistant on the Investor Relations team and at Genstar Capital as an Executive Assistant / Front Office Coordinator, both San Francisco-based Private Equity firms.

Justin is General Counsel at Transpose. He previously served as an emerging company and venture capital attorney at Fenwick & West LLP, where he represented technology companies on complex corporate and business transactions. Prior to that, he served as the Chief of Finance and Acquisition for the NATO Communications and Information Agency and as a Finance Officer in the U.S. Air Force.

Karissa Velasquez is an Accounting and Operations Assistant. In her role she supports the finance and operations with internal operational needs. She began her career as an Administrative Assistant and quickly grew to assist the Corporate Accounting Office Manager with accounting tasks such as allocation, receivables, payables, and reconciliations.

Kayleigh is an Executive Assistant at Transpose where she manages scheduling and logistics for the CEO and overall team. She brings over 10 years of experience in customer service, executive support and marketing. Previously, Kayleigh played a key role in customer relations at Interlock USA. Prior to Interlock, Kayleigh managed the scheduling and reservations department for Peppermill Hotel & Casino. She brings her detail-oriented focus and data management skills to Transpose Platform’s Executive Assistant team.

Michelle is the Director of HR and Operations at Transpose Platform. Prior to this role, she began her career in 2006 at a privately owned warehouse facility, where she conducted all accounting duties, financial reporting, and treasury services for seven locations, the management company, and several rental properties. During this time, she helped to implement standard operating procedures and develop the HR department. In 2016, she became the Management Company accountant for The Sterling Group, LP, a private equity firm based in Houston, TX. During her time with Sterling, she managed the books for The Sterling Group and its four management companies, as well as assisting HR. She managed all treasury services, such as running funds flows and managing multiple bank and escrow accounts.

Riham is Executive Assistant at Transpose. She has over 24 years of experience and has provided high-level support to C-suite executives in private equity, healthcare, and nuclear energy management consultancy. She specializes in executive operations, complex scheduling, event planning, and working closely with UHNWIs, managing both professional and private affairs with discretion and efficiency. With her excellent organizational skills and adaptability, Riham ensures seamless day-to-day operations and executive support.

Sabba is the Chief Technology Officer at Transpose Platform where he leads technology, systems, and AI integration. With a fruitful career spanning over a decade and evolving from a frontend engineer to a software engineering manager, Sabba aims to leverage this extensive experience to drive impactful tech initiatives. Successful terms at large, esteemed organizations like Uber (Careem) and VMware Inc., and smaller startups working with Y Combinator have honed his acumen to focus on leading high-performing teams to deliver user-centric, scalable, and data-driven web applications. Through technical proficiency and leadership, he is committed to empowering teams, enhancing process efficiencies, and driving forward tech initiatives to achieve tangible business outcomes with delightful user experiences.

Stuart Mason is an advisor to Transpose and prviously served as the CIO of the University of Minnesota from 2002 to 2024. The endowment’s performance has regularly been in the top quartile among endowments and foundations, and under his purview, grew from $485 million to $2.3 billion–excluding a $850 million distribution to the university.

Truc is a Data Analyst at Transpose. Prior to joining Transpose, Truc was a proficient Data Analyst for almost 2 years at Moonfare, where she specialized in data analysis, visualization, data integrity, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Her academic background is highlighted by an Economics Master's degree and a specialization in data science through the MITx MicroMaster program. Throughout her career, Truc has effectively applied her skills in SQL, Tableau, Python, and Excel, making significant contributions to business strategy and operational efficiency.
